Evan David Taubenfeld (born June 27, 1983) is an American singer/songwriter, best known for being Avril Lavigne's lead guitarist and best friend. Evan Taubenfeld's debut album, Welcome to the Blacklist Club, is due out May 18, 2010.
Welcome to the Blacklist Club (originally titled With a Wink and a Smile) is the upcoming debut album by American singer/songwriter Evan Taubenfeld, ex-guitarist of Avril Lavigne. The album was expected to be released on September 15, 2009, but was recently resceduled to a later, date. During Taubenfeld's UStream chat on March 28, 2010, he confirmed that the album will be released on iTunes worldwide on May 18, 2010. On February 24, a promotional single, "Cheater of the Year" was released on iTunes, and a lyric video was made available on myspace. The first official single, "Boy Meets Girl" was released on March 31.
